Something about me

Passion, love and curiosity especially in analogic 35mm and in medium format 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7.
I'm Photographer from 1990, until the end of 1998 I have collaborated with a publishing company working on stage and on set in many workshops of fashion, glamour, portrait photography.
With the end of the 90s I leave the commercial photography and I dedicate my work only to fine art photo and to what amazes me and fascinates me. The portrait, the expression, the light, the extreme pursuit of beauty in its forms and expressions.

The intent is not hidden: find a communication, establish a dialogue, listen a reaction. Maybe my images are from what I feel and not from what I see.
The passage of the time and its traces attracts me and kidnaps me.
And the cracks that track, sometimes too deep to be accepted, are catching my eye.
That's why I chose a medium that could help me to make some steps on this path. That's why I chose to continue using analogue photography, the grainy film, the black and white, and try to get help from its grain and its depth.
Over the years I have developed a very personal approach to the images and I now explore and develop some ancient photographic techniques and alternative processes like Cyanotype and Van Dyke 'brown prints'.
